To dry a soaked phone, use rice. Yes, a common term used to save our wonderful device but no matter how much care you take, the handheld will often take a dip when we decide to go for a swim. I personally haven’t tried this theory but  In lieu of a hair dryer, pat the phone dry with a soft towel, then place in a plastic bag along with rice. If that doesn’t work, bring it to us and we can try and fix it.

If you would like your iPhone battery to last longer, dial down the brightness factor of your phone’s display. Simply go the settings option on your iPhone and select the brightness option. This will definitely help you save your battery usage, which is important during those times when you need a fully charged phone.

When searching the web with your iPhone, you do not have to type in the “.com.au” part of an address. You only need to use the main address and your browser will pull up the correct site. This may seem like a tiny time-saver, but with the buttons being tiny and eyes getting older, any saving – is a good one

Another benefit of the iPhone is the ability to navigate. Use the map as GPS when you want definite directions, or when trying to find gas stations or grocery stores en route. You can bookmark the phone’s map function to access it easily anytime.

You don’t need to press X every time AutoCorrect attempt to make a correction. All you need to do is press the screen, anywhere. This closes the suggestion box immediately so that you can type the word the proper way.

You can easily set up your email on your iPhone so that it is simple to retrieve your messages. This can be very useful in that it permits you to receive notifications with every incoming message, allowing you to read them instantly. You can tag just about any account to your iPhone.

Have you ever had second thoughts about your latest message you just wrote in iMessage? Is AutoCorrect confusing the meaning of what you write? The easiest way to undo this is to just give a quick shake to your iPhone. This will get rid of recent typing automatically. This feature is optional and needs to be enabled if you wish to use it.

Everyone uses their iPhone to take pictures. It can be difficult to scroll through all of the photos you have taken if they are not sorted. If you want to organize your photos so you can find them easily, use your iPhone’s album function that is built-in. This saves you a lot of time when you have to find a specific photo.

Hopefully, these little tips come in handy for us iPhone tragic. I am sure if you’re new to the iPhone they will help in some way.  If you are new, what took you so long?
